What's the Cookbook About?

Lactose Limited is a cookbook of lactose-free recipes especially designed to help people whose diet can not tolerate lactose. I am such a person. Over a period of months you will learn what to eat and drink in your diet and what to avoid so as to be free of lactose and the problems it can cause.

No more synthetic enzymes. No pills or the expense of pills. By cooking foods found within the pages of my cookbook you will become liberated and confident to shop and travel – free of the culprit lactose.

All the ingredients in the recipes in this cookbook can be found in supermarkets or health food stores.

What's in the cookbook?

Do you want to marinate lamb kebabs and grill your own shish kebab? It is in the cookbook. Plenty of beef recipes too – tasty and inexpensive for London broil and flank steak. Not only will the lactose intolerant enjoy the food, but others in the family who don't have lactose intolerance will also enjoy the recipes.

Affordable delicious foods – BBQ chicken to rice to safe bread rolls. You know bread is one of the most troublesome foods you can eat that is sold in the general market. Don't ask me why we can not find lactose-free bread safe for the lactose intolerant. Good bread rolls are in the cookbook.

There are no pictures in this cookbook, just the facts. It's easy to store and easy to read. Queen Mary Benson is a creative writer – you will not be bored. Also, no soy substitutes are found in any of the recipes.

Bonus sections in the cookbook Lactose Limited include:
  • Tips for the Lactose Intolerant

  • Treats for the Lactose Intolerant

  • What Foods and Beverages to Avoid

  • Grilling the Hostess (with questions regarding ingredients)

  • You Can't Be Serious (Yes, I have to study everything I eat)

Lactose-Free Recipes are Good for Everyone

These recipes will be welcomed by children and adults who do not have lactose intolerance. My husband, an engineer, loves every dish. Everything from shish kebab to pasta and meat balls. I do not want to claim too much but we never suffer from heartburn.

Lactose Limited is not a medical book nor do I assume to give medical advice. I did do research and I stand by my product, my cookbook, Lactose Limited. I am not an MD but I do have a BBA from a quality university on Long Island, New York.

The Main Goal

You will be amazed how tasty the lactose-free dishes are. The main goal is to not cause intestinal distress and embarrassment for the lactose intolerant sufferer.

My goal is to help you. I want you to achieve intestinal stability as I did. I am not trying to impress anyone with a recipe for fake cheesecake. That is passé. I already have the best recipe for New York cheesecake. I have given it out. I do not eat like that anymore. Now my diet includes raisins, dates, cashews and shelled walnuts – all lactose free.

Why I Wrote the Cookbook

I am not writing Lactose Limited for the money but to help people like me who have lactose intolerance. It is a simple book, easy to read, easy to understand and I firmly believe it will help you to live again like a confident person. I now feel free to leave my home and the toilet. I owe this liberation and change to the diet of foods I developed – everything from soups to main dishes to desserts, all of which are free of lactose. What more can you ask for?

The Recipes are Easy to Prepare

As a first generation Armenian-American, Queen Mary Benson will teach you how to cook bulgur wheat, bulgur which is satisfying to the soul, as well as the stomach.

Eat bulgur often and you will know intestinal stability. It takes 25 minutes on the top of your stove – less time than it takes to make mashed potatoes with its milk and butter and shredded cheese.

The Author

From Istanbul, to Paris, to New York City, to Virginia. This is the genealogy of Lactose Limited cookbook author, Queen Mary Benson. This is her debut entrance into the world of Lactose Intolerant cooking – cooking free of lactose.

Queen Mary Benson developed lactose intolerance in 2001. An Adelphi University (Garden City, New York) graduate, she applied problem solving tactics to develop a collection of tasty foods – everything lactose-free – soups, main dishes, salads, vegetables, desserts, rolls and beverages.

Do something for yourself and buy this recipe book. Every recipe is proven safe – tested on her digestive tract.

Get Your Life Back

What more can I say to make you buy my recipe book and follow my pathway back to a life of fun with friends and family??

I advise you to buy the cookbook for your sake if you are lactose intolerant and have a need to eat foods in your diet that are free of lactose.
